Stacey Meyer has had no formal study in performance. Despite that, she has appeared in numerous stage plays in Milwaukee as well as performing improv for several years at ComedySportz. Her first foray into film was as a drunken pregnant woman at the Loyal Wisconsin Corn Festival for the BBC documentary PISSED AND PREGNANT where she acted obnoxiously intoxicated. Her guerilla performance was so convincing that she nearly got arrested for drinking while pregnant.

Recent forays into direction have included the staging of Our Town in her living room featuring an all feline cast. 

Stacey turned 80 recently, loves knitting, her 34 cats and box wine.
