Briane F Pagel J.R. developed the script based on a plot by Ross Bigley, with Mike Pinkepank slotted to play the husband, but after a night of filming Mike dropped out and Briane took over the husband role.  Rob Schrab and Ross Bigley produced the film through MATA Community Media.
