Mark Maj

Mark Maj’s extensive film background includes a variety of projects both behind and in front of the camera, as well as screenwriting. His film acting roles include being a featured extra in Clint Eastwood’s FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS, HOME ALONE 2, FRED CLAUS, DERAILED, STRANGER THAN FICTION, MAD DOG AND GLORY, and CURLY SUE.

His television credits include the starring role in several episodes of The Weather Channel series entitled “WHEN WEATHER CHANGED HISTORY, portraying “Mayor Ogden” and “General Leslie Groves”. He’s also worked on the Discovery Channel’s show “INVESTIGATIVE DISCOVERY – OPERATION UNDERCOVER, portraying mobsters. In addition, Mark co-produced and co-hosted a weekly television show called RANDOM ACCESS.

Behind the camera, he’s worked on numerous film projects inclusive of DEAD OF NIGHT, FAIRWELL DARKNESS, SERUM, SECOND MOON, and has just completed work on the feature film, ZOMBIE FRAT HOUSE, partnering with Dirty Job Films and Mutant Barmonkey Productions, LLC.

In 2012, Mark and his film partner, Leslie Weber Maj, formed Monkey Films which currently has a horror feature in development, titled THE BODY MAN, as well as a short film currently in pre-production, SUPER DELUXE, scheduled to begin principle photography Spring of 2014.

His educational background in film includes Columbia College in Chicago and Chicago Filmmakers. He and his wife reside in Racine WI.
